Frameless Glass Doors & Enclosures
Tempered Glass
- Shower door(s) and panels are constructed with clear or obscure glass.
- 1/4"(6mm), 3/8"(10mm) or 1/2"(12mm) tempered safety glass conforming to CPSC standard or CAN 2-12.1-79 Federal Specification DD-G-1403B).
- All exposed edges polished and rounded.
- All holes and notches to be drilled prior to the tempering process.
- Tempered glass has greater resistance to thermally induced stress than heat-strengthened or annealed glass.
Aluminum Channels & Hardware
- Extruded aluminum components are #6463-T5 alloy
- 3/4" (18mm) deep profile suitable for 3/8" (10mm) or 1/2" (12mm) tempered glass
- Buffed and bright dip anodized or powder coat painted
- Screws or fasteners are stainless steel to prevent rust or corrosion
Hinges
- Hinges on heavy glass products are constructed of #320 stainless steel or solid brass.
- Product guaranteed to last the lifetime of the enclosure with little risk of degradation or discoloration.
- Most hinges are self centering within 15 degrees of closed position.
- Hinges contain a reversible 5-degree pivot pin to provide a tighter closure into the shower interior.
